Picture Retakes

November 2nd is Picture Retakes

Wagner Portrait Group will be at school to photograph any students who were absent on the original Picture Day. Retake photos will also be available upon request.

If your student is having a retake, please return the entire portrait package (including the insert sheet) to the photographer on retake day. Feel free to attach a note describing what you’d like done differently.

Tennis Shoes for PE

Your child needs to wear tennis shoes when they have PE. If they do not have shoes that are safe for the tile or safe for the activities, they may have to sit out due to safety. Crocs are ok if they have the strap on the back. Your child and your child's teacher can keep you updated on our 4 day rotating schedule which would indicate which days they have PE.

McIntire Mania

Our next McIntire Mania will be held on November 20th. Staff are in the process of planning for the activities. Students with 0 major office referrals or 2 or less minor referrals since October 16th will get to participate. All other students will work on lessons around safety, respect, and responsibility.

Supporting Literacy at Home

Simple activities, such as grocery shopping, provide natural opportunities to introduce new words and build background knowledge. Talking through everyday experiences helps children expand their vocabulary and better understand the world around them.
