Mr. Burns and the 5th Grade teachers will be hosting an Outdoor School Information Session where parents can find out more about this unique Salford Hills tradition. The information session will be held on October 14th from 5:15-6:00 in the cafeteria at Salford Hills. Come find out what your child will be doing for 3 days and 2 nights, and learn all about what makes this Salford Hills program so special.

Afterward there will be a Home and School Meeting. Feel free to stay and find out news ways to help out at Salford Hills.

School is just around the corner, and the District has been busy preparing student 1-to-1 devices for instructional use during the upcoming school year. Starting with the 2025-2026 school year, there is a new process for how families will receive their annual student/parent mobile device use agreement/fee. Families will receive an e-mail from Souderton Area SD (webstores@revtrak.net) with an invoice for their student’s mobile device fee. The subject of the e-mail will be "Fee Invoice".

Families will be able to complete their agreement/pay their fee online through the District’s Online Payments system. For families who would like to pay their invoice via cash/check, agreements can be printed and payment made in-person.

Families will receive instructions for completing the agreement and paying the fee via e-mail on the date invoices are sent. No action is necessary today.

Devices will be distributed to students during the first week of school.

Please complete the below information if you choose to pick up your child(ren) as a daily car rider. A car rider once or twice can be handled with a simple note to the office on the morning of the change.
Upon completing this information, you will receive a school-issued name placard for each person listed. The name placard must be placed on the driver side dashboard, so it is visible through the front windshield of your vehicle. Children will only be allowed to leave in vehicles with school-issued name tags. If you do not have the placard, you will be asked to pull forward to physically sign out your child.

If you have any interest in potentially volunteering (donating time, talent, funds or food!) at any time throughout the school year, please fill out the Google form below. There will plenty of chances to get involved both in the classroom and at after school events. There is no commitment by filling out the form -- it simply adds you to the email list to be notified about opportunities where you could contribute in some way.

Please join the Home & School Association at our next meeting! This is a great opportunity to meet other parents, learn about HSA events and discover different ways to get involved and volunteer. Bring your ideas, concerns, or questions to the Board and allow the kids to play since childcare is always provided. We hope to see you there!

Salford Hills had a visit from superhero, Omegaman! Omegaman talked about how positivity and good choice making helps you be successful, and how positivity relates to our core values at Salford Hills.

Our first grade classes welcome Fall with Apple Day. Students learn about apples, what we can make with apple, make apple graphs, and many other fun apple activities. At the end of the day, everyone gets to enjoy some homemade apple sauce.

Third grade writers are gearing up for a great year of informational, persuasive, and narrative writing.

In art third grade created radial symmetry designs using printmaking and origami skills.

Fundamentally committed to each other, we at Salford Hills are a caring community of learners who value each individual’s intrinsic worth and potential.
