The Butte County Office of Education is seeking a full-time Coordinator for Career Technical Education (CTE) Programs & Services to support and enhance dynamic CTE programs that prepare students for the future.
The CTE Coordinator will:
- Lead the implementation and sustainability of CTE programs
- Manage grants and state contracts
- Collaborate with schools and community partners
- Support middle school career exploration activities
- Provide resources and support for curriculum, instruction, and professional development

This comprehensive program equips students with essential manipulative skills, technical knowledge, and hands-on experience for entry-level employment as an Administrative Medical Assistant and a Clinical Medical Assistant. Throughout the program, students will participate in non-paid clinical training through our “Community Classroom,” working alongside professionals in both front office and back office settings. This real-world experience is invaluable for developing the competencies needed to thrive in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare agency.
Upon successful completion, students are eligible to sit for the California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants exam in both Administration and Clinical areas. Financial aid is available for this course.
