We are thrilled to host a book fair again this year at the Osgood! Please see below details on the fair, extra fun, food trucks, and volunteer options!

Details & Food Options: Get Ready! Don't miss the upcoming Scholastic Book fair NEXT WEEK on Wednesday and Thursday 4:30-6:30PM! We will be joined by the South Shore Taco Guy both nights who will have great options for purchase for the whole family!

Fun at the Fair: Come get some new titles, make bookmarks, and give us your Best Guess on any of the four vases filled with colorful items. Winners of each of the four Best Guesses will get to select a scholastic book of their choice AND pick out two for their classroom! Winners announced post-fair!

Volunteer: There is a VERY tight 2-hour turnaround for set-up and breakdown in the cafeteria, so we greatly appreciate any support you can offer. Even 30 minutes to set-up books is a fun & fantastic way to help!

We are planning our Winter Concerts for the middle of January due to the fact that we started the year with guest teachers in for some of the music classes. We have recently hired Megan Rees to teach music on Wednesdays and Thursdays (welcome Ms. Rees!). Mrs. Lewis is also still shared between us and Deer Hill. More concert details to follow.

For the safety of all students, please use this list to choose snacks that are allowed at the Osgood School. We do have a nut free table in the cafeteria, so this guidance is just for snacks, which are most often eaten in classrooms. The list was generated to avoid having our school nurses check all students' snacks each day to be sure they are safe.

Please pack your child's snack separate from their lunch.

For information regarding school transportation, please visit the transportation page on the new CPS website. All students must be registered through transportation to ride the bus. However, buses are full at this time and they are placing students on wait lists.
