We were overjoyed in welcoming back so many alumni to the first-ever All-Years Men’s Crew Reunion on September 28. Over 100 crew alums spanning seven decades attended the event at the Doubletree in Center City. Hall of Fame coach Dr. Gavin White was presented a proclamation from the City of Philadelphia. Thank you to all who attended and made it such a special evening.

Maddux Trujillo, a redshirt senior on the Temple football team, drilled a 64-yard field goal just before halftime of the Owls’ 45-29 victory over Utah State on September 21. The field goal was the longest in Temple and Lincoln Financial Field history and one yard shy of the modern-day record of 65 yards by Martin Gramatica of Kansas State in 1998. The clip garnered over 5 million views and engagements on social media. Click HERE to watch the historic kick.

Temple freshman fencer Jara Del Cura took home gold at Spain’s Under-20 Championships. Del Cura, a native of Madrid, won the foil title and her Temple team will begin its 2024-25 season this weekend at the USA Fencing North American Cup in Atlantic City.

Beginning with this football season, the Temple Sports Radio Network has transitioned to a new, easily accessible platform at owlsports.com/listen.
