Meet the Assistant Principal!
Greetings Main Street!
My name is Christina Edmondson, and I am delighted to share that I am the new Assistant Principal at Main Street School. I am excited to join the Main Street family after spending the last nine years working at a charter school in Philadelphia. During that time, I had the opportunity to grow in a variety of roles—from classroom teacher, to reading interventionist, and most recently as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
Originally, I am from Florida, where I attended the University of Central Florida and earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career in Florida, where I taught both third grade and kindergarten. In 2017, I moved to Pennsylvania and continued teaching second and third grade. In 2020, I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Temple University.
Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to supporting both students and educators, and I am passionate about creating learning environments where all children can thrive. I am truly excited to begin this next chapter at Main Street School and look forward to partnering with students, families, and staff to support our scholars’ success.
With gratitude,
Mrs. Edmondson
