Wildcat Weekly
Volume 14, October 24th, 2026

Welcome to this week’s Wildcat Weekly! What a fantastic week for Wildcat Nation, starting with our JV and Varsity bands earning straight 1's at their regional competition last Saturday, congratulations to our talented students and directors!
Looking ahead, get ready for a packed schedule as we prepare for our annual Patriotic Game against Tomball High. Next week is a packed week as we prepare for the annual patriotic game and show as our football team takes on Tomball High. Don't hesitate to swing by our JV football game as we take on Tomball High or visit THS to see the Freshman Football team take the Cougars on. Please see below regarding important details about the patriotic show and tickets that go on sale at 8 AM tomorrow.
As we navigate these final 7 weeks of the semester, please closely monitor your student's grades and attendance in HAC. Exceeding 9 absences (excused or unexcused) puts students at risk of losing semester credit, so let's stay on track and finish strong.
WILDCAT NATION, WE NEED YOU! TMHS is competing to bring country music star Parker McCollum to our campus for an exclusive pep rally on December 2nd. We need our entire community to rally together and bring Parker to the Navy Empire. Please vote daily using all your unique email addresses at https://bit.ly/TMHSParkerPep, and share the link with friends, family, and alumni today!

TMHS Attendance
Whenever a student is absent, they must submit a digital absence letter via the provided QR code or bring a physical note to their assigned Assistant Principal's office upon returning to school. Families can find the direct phone extension for their designated Assistant Principal and Administrative Assistant based on the student's last name in the alpha breakdown chart. To maintain course credit, state law requires students to attend class at least 90% of the time, meaning high school students risk losing credit starting on their 10th absence of the semester unless an approved make-up plan is completed.

At Tomball Memorial, we proudly celebrate our Wildcat spirit every Friday by wearing navy, our official school color. Whether you are a student, parent, or staff member, we encourage everyone to show their pride and support all the incredible things happening on campus by repping TMHS gear or anything navy. And while the Mean Girls may have worn pink on Wednesdays, on Fridays, we wear NAVY because supporting your school is always in style.
