A MESSAGE FROM OUR PTO
As this year wraps up we would like to thank everyone who volunteered their time, donated funds to support events, participated in fundraisers and came to our family fun events. Without parent support we would not be able to do what we do. We look forward to the next school year and all of the fun we are already starting to plan.
We have our final Bulldog Store this Thursday, the last day of school. We can still use help executing this event being that it is the final store and all points must be spent or they are lost. If you are interested in helping and have been approved please sign up on the sign up genius that has been sent out. If you need further assistance please reach out.
Some of you may have noticed that our facebook page is no longer accessible. We are working to try and recover our old page, but if that is not possible please be on the lookout for a new page. We can still be reached via email at Heartlandpto.board@gmail.com.
Our voting period ended on Friday. Our PTO board for next year will consist of myself, Karoline Meadows, as President (returning), Jessica Turner as Vice President (returning), Kristen Rhein as Secretary, and Nicole Wagner as Treasurer. Please join me in welcoming our new board members. We will miss the support of Barbara Green (Treasurer) and Samantha Perkins (Secretary) next year but hope to see them at future events.
We will announce the date for our next meeting ASAP.

HELLO Bulldog families!
It is hard to believe that we are down to our last 3 days of school. To celebrate a good year and all the students effort, we have some fun end of the year activities planned for students this week. Please see the calendar of events listed at the bottom of this newsletter to see what we have planned.
TOMORROW, May 18th will be field day. Please make sure students wear tennis shoes as they will be walking around and playing games most of the day. If you want to send your child with a towel, water bottle and hat that is fine. Sun screen should be applied before they come to school as we, staff, are not allowed to put sun screen on students.
Below is a list of our grade level awards programs--
Wednesday, May 20
7:30-8:10AM- 3rd grade (students receiving an award brought home an invitation last week)
8:20-8:50AM- 2nd grade (students receiving an award brought home an invitation last week)
9:00 - 9:30AM - 1st grade (students receiving an award brought home an invitation last week)
9:40-10:30AM- 4th grade (students receiving an award brought home an invitation last week)
12:45-1:45PM- 5th grade
5:45-6:45PM- Kindergarten (up to 8 guests per student)
If your child is in 1st-4th grade and brought home an invite, you will want to make sure that you've had your ID scanned in at the office prior to May 20th. Your child's teacher will be sending an RSVP link to help with getting visitors badges printed and IDs scanned.
