Faith of Gratitude and Abundance
The Chuseok Mass invites us to give thanks for the fruits of life and God’s blessings, to remember our ancestors, and to share love with family and community. It is a time to reflect on the many gifts we have received and how our faith grows in daily life. This celebration also calls us to live our gratitude in action—by honoring our ancestors, cherishing family, and sharing God’s grace with others. Faith grows stronger when we humbly rely on God, even in times of abundance, and on this day we are invited to renew our faith with thankfulness and love, living out God’s blessings in our everyday lives.

Every October, parishes are asked to report Sunday Mass attendance to the diocese.

Please try to make a special effort to attend Mass in our parish throughout the month of October.

Each year, the Catholic Church celebrates World Mission Sunday on the second-to-last Sunday of October, reminding us of our call to share the Gospel. We ask for your prayers and generous support for the missionaries who proclaim Christ throughout the world and for mission churches in need of our help.

Generation to Generation: Answer the Call is a $300 million, 5 year-capital campaign designed to address the needs of the archdiocese and strengthen local parishes. All parishes will participate, and every parishioner will be invited to help make a positive impact for the future of our church.
