Woodcrest Weekly Wildcat!
Stay up to date with all things Woodcrest!!
Principal News!
10/18/26
Dear Woodcrest Families,
We have another exciting week ahead at Woodcrest! Thank you for your continued partnership in helping us create a safe, welcoming, and supportive school community where every Wildcat can learn and thrive.
🛡️ Anti-Bullying Agreement
This week, we will be sending home the Fullerton School District Anti-Bullying Agreement with all students. Please take a few minutes to review the agreement with your child, sign it, and return it to school as soon as possible.
At Woodcrest, we believe every student deserves to enjoy school and feel safe, secure, respected, and accepted. Preventing bullying takes all of us working together, and we appreciate your partnership in reinforcing kindness, respect, and belonging at home and at school.
❤️ Red Ribbon Week: “Be a Hero!”
Next week, we will celebrate Red Ribbon Week, a time dedicated to encouraging students to make healthy choices and commit to a drug-free lifestyle.
This year’s theme is “Be a Hero!” We have some fun spirit days planned for our Wildcats throughout the week. Please see the flyer below for a special preview and start getting those outfits ready!
🚨 Family Emergency Preparedness
The safety and well-being of every child is our top priority. Just as we practice fire and earthquake drills at school, we encourage every family to have a plan at home in case of an emergency.
A Family Emergency Preparedness Plan helps make sure your children are cared for by an adult you trust if you are ever unexpectedly unable to pick them up or care for them. This could happen because of an illness, an accident, or another emergency.
Three simple steps:
Choose a trusted adult who can care for your children if you are unable to.
Download and complete the free Family Emergency Preparedness Plan, available in English, Spanish, and Korean on the district website under Family Emergency Planning.
Update your child’s emergency contacts with our school office to make sure the trusted adult you selected is listed and authorized.
Need help completing your plan? Please contact our School Support Advocate (SSA), Ms. Gaby, at (714) 447-7760. We are happy to help!
🎉 Congratulations to Our Attendance Challenge Winners!
A BIG congratulations to Mrs. Michael’s and Ms. Townsell’s classrooms, our attendance challenge winners from last week! Way to go, Wildcats! 🐾👏 We are so proud of you for showing up, being ready to learn, and making every school day count.
