Friday Updates

Dear SHS Families,

It was a good week at the school as we began to approach the end of April. Reminder, that ANY families seeking tuition assistance for the 2026-2027 school year need to have their applications submitted through the Blackbaud Financial Aid Portal by May 1st for consideration. If you have any questions or would like more information about SHS tuition assistance, I encourage you to look at the information posted on the school’s website, or feel free to reach out to Mr. Greer.

Students this week had a lot to be excited about. Kindergarten through 2nd grade attended the Franklin County Lit Fest Puppet show on Wednesday, and 3rd through 6th grade were able to tour Arrowhead Stadium on Friday. Most spectacularly, however, the whole school was able to process the original statue of Our Lady of Fatima into the Church on Thursday, listen to the story of Fatima, ask questions, and pray with Our Lady. What a great opportunity for students to grow their relationship with Christ through the presence of His mother.

Remember that the BASH is coming up. We are excited for this year’s event and encourage all who need to submit donations to do so soon. I hope to see you all there for an evening of community, centered around helping the parish provide the quality of faith-centered education for our young people that we have come to love.
