Choose PSD Website!
We’re excited to share that the new Choose PSD website is now live at psdschools.org/choosepsd!
This site was designed to serve as a central hub for families to learn about all the amazing schools and programs in Poudre School District. From neighborhood schools to choice options, from early childhood through high school, it brings together information that previously lived in multiple places into one clear, easy-to-navigate experience.
The site features:
- School Profiles: Highlights of all PSD schools and their unique programs and learning opportunities.
- Registration Information: Step-by-step guides for registration and School Choice, including timelines for the 2026–27 school year.
- Campus Events: A live list of open houses and kindergarten information nights across the district.
- Programs & Pathways: Overviews of specialized learning models, from IB and Core Knowledge to Dual Language and Career & Technical Education.
- Frequently Asked Questions: A comprehensive resource addressing common registration, transportation, athletics, and program questions.
Our goal is to create a single, welcoming space where current and prospective families can easily explore PSD schools, find answers, and take the next step to enroll.

FCHS Information Night!
As one of our feeder schools, we wanted to share the date for our 8th Grade Open House & Exhibition of Learning, which will be on Wednesday, December 3rd, beginning at 6:00 PM.
The evening will start in the McNeal Auditorium, located at the northwest entrance of campus. Following a brief introduction to FCHS, including our academic pathways, programs, and student opportunities, families will be invited to explore the building, visit classrooms and departments, meet staff and students, and learn more about our activities and athletics.
This event is a great opportunity for 8th graders and their families to experience the Lambkin community firsthand. Students can learn about academic programs, extracurricular opportunities, and student life, while also exploring our Fall Exhibition of Learning, where current students will proudly showcase their projects and achievements.

PSD Engagement Norms
In an effort to foster a culture of mutual respect, effective communication, and quality customer service, PSD has created a set of norms for staff, family/guardian, and community engagement. These norms aim to set a positive tone for interactions between staff and parents and community members, whether they happen in person, over the phone, or in writing.
The norms will be posted in all PSD schools and include expectations that:
- Calls or emails that are not emergencies will be acknowledged within three school days.
- Appointments between the parties involved will be established as a norm for addressing concerns or discussing important matters through direct communication.
- Appointments will take place as soon as reasonably possible. Adequate time is needed for preparation and research before an appointment.
- Communication will focus on collaboration and understanding – respectful language and non-confrontational behavior from all parties are expected.
- Boundaries between personal and professional life will be maintained, and sensitive matters will not be addressed in community settings.
It’s important for everyone in our schools and in our communities to feel welcome and engage in mutual respect to best serve students.
