Principal's Hello Principal's Hello

Dear Golden Eagle Families,

We celebrated cross country, football, and volleyball wins this week! We also started planning our Fall Fest, which will be an after-school party for PCMS students on Friday, October 23rd. The 8th grade WEB leaders have generated some fun ideas! We need parent volunteers to make it happen!

If you haven't yet donated, don't worry—we're only halfway through our fundraiser. I didn't pledge until this morning, so you're in good company (haha).

We also need a wrestling coach, and we're getting close to the deadline.

Finally, we had some subs in the building yesterday, and several students earned detentions for their behavior. Please remind your student about how we treat guests in our home. We'll be doing an Advisory lesson soon on this topic.

Have a great weekend!

Sean

We’re Halfway There. Let’s Finish Strong! We’re Halfway There. Let’s Finish Strong!

We are officially halfway through our Fill the Nest Giving Campaign, and while we’ve made great progress, we still have a ways to go to reach our goal!

This campaign is about more than simply raising money. It is about making sure our students have opportunities to learn, explore, create, and make memories that they will carry with them long after they leave PCMS.

We are halfway there, but we need our PCMS community to help us make it across the finish line! Every donation makes a difference. Whether you give $10, $50, $100, or whatever works for your family, your support adds up and directly benefits our students.

Let’s finish strong and Fill the Nest!

You can make a one-time, tax-deductible gift (tax ID# 47-4312566) by completing a donation form at the front office or donating online through PayPal or Venmo using the QR codes below.

For questions, contact us at pacificcrestcoboard@gmail.com.

Thank you for supporting PCCO, believing in our students, and helping us make these opportunities possible!

Canvas at Home: Pairing Codes and MFA Help Canvas at Home: Pairing Codes and MFA Help

Thank you for your patience as we adjust to keeping iPads at school. We know there have been some hiccups and confusion, and we appreciate your flexibility as we work through them.

Canvas Pairing Codes

Students received a handout with their Canvas pairing code and instructions during advisory this morning. Please ask your student for their pairing code handout.

Accessing Canvas from Home

Students must have their iPads to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA). Therefore this must be done at school. We are offering several opportunities to complete this process:

Morning Help
Next Monday and Tuesday, 8:40 to 8:50 a.m.
Students can set up MFA using their phones. Parents are welcome to attend if their student does not have a phone.

Evening Help
Students must attend with a parent as they will need access to their iPads.

  • Monday, October 12, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 15, 4:00 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Monday, October 19, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 22, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Please plan to attend one of the available sessions so we can get everyone set up and make accessing Canvas from home as smooth as possible. Thank you for your patience and help as we work to get everything in place!
