LE's May and June Updates 2026

Principal's Message
Hello Linden Elementary Families!
Can you believe we’re already heading into May and June? It’s an exciting time filled with learning, fun, and special events—and we want to make sure you stay in the loop as we work together to finish the year strong!
There are lots of great things coming up, like field trips, the K-12 District Art Show, Music Concerts, and SOAR Day. These events are wonderful opportunities to celebrate all that our students have accomplished, and we’d love your support!
✅ Please continue to check your child’s backpack and folder daily—this is where you’ll find corrected work, notes, permission slips, and important reminders.
✅ Please continue to check you email inbox
✅ Also, be sure to read through the Linden Elementary Newsletter for essential dates and details.
A couple friendly reminders:
-
Events that take place during the school day are for Linden Elementary students only—thanks for understanding!
-
If you’d like to volunteer at any upcoming event, don’t forget that iChat forms must be completed each semester to be eligible. This is a quick process and helps keep our school community safe and organized.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement. Let’s help our students maintain their focus, make lasting memories, and finish the school year strong!
With appreciation,
Jeannine Strickert

Can I Request a Teacher for the 2026-2027 Year?
It is hard to believe that we are already beginning to plan for the next school year. As we start this process, please know that creating class lists is a thoughtful and complex task. Many factors are carefully considered to ensure balanced, supportive learning environments for all students.
Because of this complexity, we are not accepting teacher requests. We appreciate your understanding as we work to make the best possible placements for every child.
Linden Elementary is proud to have a team of highly skilled, caring teachers, and we are confident that your child will have a wonderful experience no matter the classroom placement.
We stand together to educate our young eagles.

A Word from Officer Williams
Hello Linden Families,As your School Resource Officer, I love seeing the energy and excitement during arrival and dismissal each day. It is a busy time, and with that comes a shared responsibility to keep every student safe.
Please remember that all students should remain properly seated inside the vehicle during drop off and pick up. Riding with heads, arms, or bodies outside of windows or sunroofs may seem fun in the moment, but it greatly increases the risk of serious injury. Even at low speeds, unexpected stops or nearby traffic can turn a small choice into a preventable accident.
By keeping everyone seated and secure, we can work together to make arrival and dismissal smooth, safe, and stress free for all. Thank you for helping us protect our students and keep safety the top priority every single day!

Linden Elementary Music Concerts May 19th and 20th
Get ready to celebrate music, pride, and patriotism! Our elementary students will take the stage for their Spring Music Concerts on May 19 and May 20 at LHS. This year’s performances will feature a patriotic theme, honoring our country through song and spirited performances you will not want to miss.
Mark your calendars and get excited for an evening filled with energy, talent, and heart! More details are coming soon, so be sure to watch your classroom newsletters for additional information.
