Daily Choices, Big Results: This Week’s Panther Pulse 🐾
Welcome to this week’s Panther Pulse newsletter! We have a lot to celebrate as our Strayer Middle School community keeps building momentum and showing what it means to be a Panther.
PRIDE Time in Full Swing
PRIDE time for each grade level is up and running smoothly across the building! This dedicated block gives our students tailored opportunities to thrive—whether that means targeted support in Math and ELA or diving into passion projects like drawing, reading, extended learning, band and chorus lessons, physical activities, and even line dancing with Mrs. McMaster (as seen in the picture below!)
Our goal to empower students to choose their daily activities using SmartPass has come to life remarkably fast this school year. Seeing our students navigate their choices with independence and care is a true testament to the daily responsibility and maturity they show.
Staff & Student Spotlight: Celebrating Our Student-Athletes
A huge shoutout goes to Mr. Badway, our Athletic Secretary, for making student-athlete recognition a top priority! Mr. Badway dedicates significant time to highlighting students who go above and beyond both on the field and in the classroom.
Students can check out these features displayed in the cafeteria and featured in our weekly newsletters. It is so rewarding to see our Panthers shine outside the traditional classroom setting!
