Hi CPS Families,

As we enter a long weekend, we want to thank you for all that you do in helping us make CPS a great place to be! The mornings are definitely feeling more fallish and an extra layer is needed for students at the morning and lunch recess times. We have kept our lost & found pile down to a tiny mound by using Friday lunch time for each grade to look at the items that have been collected. It's working! We have students also checking the bins frequently for their lost items.

Our Pajamas 4 a Purpose is on October 31st and we will also be collecting items for the China Community Food Pantry.

Our parent/teacher conference night is on Thursday, November 6th and teachers will be sending out sign up sheets soon. Please be looking for these on SeeSaw.

Please direct any emails regarding student absences and/or student dismissals to your child's teacher AND to our administrative assistant Mae Slevinsky (mslevinsky@rsu18.org). Our wonderful secretary, Bobbie Weymouth celebrated her last day at CPS today! We wish her the best!

Please be sure to communicate any changes for end of day dismissal plans prior to 2:00pm so students can be sure to receive their notes.

November 8th from 9am - 2pm - 46th Annual China Schools PTO Craft Show

The 46th Annual China Maine Craft Show is on November 8th! Each year students from China Primary donate items for themed baskets that are raffled off at the craft show! All proceeds are used to support classroom enrichment materials and activities, teacher grants and field trips through the China Schools PTO. Each grade is assigned a basket & theme!

Items are due by November 5th! See the flyer below for details!

Please DO NOT send any medications including inhalers and epipens in with your child.

ALL medications must be brought to school by an adult and handed off to the nurse (or appropriate staff if the nurse is unavailable).
