CMS PEEK AT THE WEEK

Hello, CMS Parents/Guardians! This newsletter is an update of what is going on at CMS this week.

We hope everyone enjoyed an {unexpected] extended break last week!

Thank you to everyone who came to our parent/teachers conferences on the 13th!

• Students have 4 more weeks to work on their reading bingo cards!
• We have 4 weeks until spring break/end of 3rd quarter.
• There are 7 school weeks until we take the Atlas summative assessment (April 22-25).
• The 5th grade field trip was cancelled due to weather. We will work to get it rescheduled and send out information if/when we do.

• Representatives from Bank OZK will be here to present information about personal finance to 5th/6th graders during Success.

Mrs. Bradford is excited to pass the Staff of the Week award to Coach Parks!

This week's MVP is Coach Parks! He brings a fun and positive atmosphere for both staff and students. Although he hasn’t been here for the first part of the year, that didn’t stop him from demonstrating Staff of the Week qualities right when he returned. From his throwback stories to his “What day is it?” shout-outs on Wednesdays, it was great to see how excited the kids were to have him back. We are lucky to have him!
