Use this question each week to engage your student at home with the learning that your is doing at school.

Kindergarten - Look for the red words: for, the, & and.

1st Grade - How is life different today than it was long ago?

2nd Grade - Read a book with your child. Have your student explain the characters and setting of the story.

3rd Grade - Create a family list of all the things you are thankful for together.

4th Grade - Watch a movie or an episode of a show. Can you give a summary following these cues… “Somebody, Wanted, But, So, Then”?

5th Grade - Take any family recipe and pretend that you are making it for ½ of the amount of people. What happens to the fractions in the recipe?

Week 16: Winter Weather Preparedness "Cold Weather, Warm Plans"

As temperatures drop, make sure your child dresses appropriately for school—layered clothing, warm jackets, gloves, and hats are essential. Remind students not to throw snow or ice and to walk carefully on slick surfaces. Inside, we'll practice emergency plans in case of a weather delay or early dismissal.
