A Message from Ms. Peterson
Hello MCP3 Families,
Welcome, March! We are excited to begin a brand-new month of learning, growing, and exploring together! March brings fresh energy, new discoveries, and lots of opportunities for our little scholars to shine. As we head toward spring, we’ll continue building important skills through hands-on activities, intentional lessons, joyful play, and meaningful connections. Thank you for partnering with us each day — we are looking forward to a wonderful month ahead!
Shout outs!!!!
- Shout out to all of the families for attending our Family Night: Black History Edition last week Thursday! Engaging with your child in their school learning environment, getting to know some of their classmates and classmates' families, and learning about Black History together helps to build the school/home relationship! Thank you for your involvement in and continued support of your child's educational journey!
- Shout out to the Bulldogs for winning the classroom bulletin board challenge and shout out to all of the family members that voted! We will be scheduling their ice cream and movie party to take place soon!

DSHA Volunteers at MCP3
We will have 4 DSHA students "Dashers" supporting MCP3 from 3/2-3/12, 8:00-3:00pm. This is a part of their senior vocare (Latin-to call forth) program. This 2-week service immersion calls students to meaningful experiences with our community and helps them understand their God-given talents so they can accept their gospel call to be women who can make a difference in the world. Be sure to see their pictures below.
Open enrollment for the 26-27 school year closed on 2/28/26. All received completed applications will be entered into our lottery process for a K4 seat next year. MCP enrollment lottery takes place on March 11. Families will be communicated with about next steps following the enrollment lottery process. In the meantime, please know this: We see the responsibility attached to your decision. We understand the dreams you have for your child. And if your scholar joins Milwaukee College Prep, we will work every day to protect those dreams and help them grow into something even bigger.

MCP Alumna Spotlight
This week, MCP's Alumni Relations Coordinator, Diamonique Felder, joined an MCP alumna—now a mechanical engineering student at Marquette University—for a powerful radio conversation about what it means to be prepared for college and beyond.
Moments like this are a reminder of the strength of our school community. At MCP, scholars build a strong academic foundation, develop confidence through high expectations, and form lasting relationships with educators who believe in them. The result? Graduates who don’t just earn a high school diploma — they step onto college campuses ready to thrive in demanding fields like engineering.
At MCP, we are not just educating your child for today. We are building the foundation for tomorrow’s engineers, leaders, and changemakers — and your scholar is part of that legacy.
