Summer 2025

We made it!!!

Dear Northwood Middle School Families,

As we wrap up another incredible school year, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate everything our students, staff, and families have accomplished together. From academic growth to personal achievements and the way our school community has upheld our core values of Respect, Responsibility, and Readiness to Learn—we truly have so much to be proud of.

As we head into summer, we encourage all families to check out the Important Dates document for information about the upcoming 2025–2026 school year, as well as our Family Focus section with ideas and strategies to support learning and connection over the break. Please remember as you look at PowerSchool over the summer, schedules are not considered final until the beginning of the school year.

Summer is the perfect time to rest, recharge, and make lasting memories with loved ones. We hope everyone takes the time to enjoy it fully and return in the fall ready for another year of growth and success.

PBIS Self Assessment Survey for Families

8th Grade DC Trip

Our 8th graders had the opportunity to visit and learn about our nation's capitol. Thank you to the staff who joined about allowed our students to grow and learn.

6th Grade Put In Bay Field Trip

The terrible weather could not dampen the spirits of our 6th graders. Perry's Monument, Crystal Cave, and the Butterfly House were all on the agenda and we could not pick a favorite.
