Hitting the mark....

2025!! We are ready to tackle this new year and all that comes with the busy spring semester!! We are so glad to be back today and are ready to see you all tomorrow.

Please remember that in the event of winter weather, all school delays or cancellations will come from Stanton ISD. We still have a large number of coats and hoodies in our lost and found. Please make sure you ask your child to check for warm clothing! Our district policy for recess is that the temperature (feels like temp) is 40 or above.

Attendance/Early Outs Attendance/Early Outs

Please remember that daily attendance is a critical piece of academic success. All students should arrive on campus between 7:35 and 7:55. Students have no more than 3 days to bring a note back in the event of an absence for it to be counted as excused. Parents are limited to writing 3 notes per semester. Any consecutive absences of more than 3 days requires a doctor's note. Excessive absences can result in Saturday School assignment and/or court fines for truancy. Every 3 tardy or leaving early will result in an unexcused absence.

Students may not be picked up from school between 2:30 and dismissal on Monday - Thursday or after 1:30 on Friday. This begins a very active and moving campus, so we do not do pick-ups. Please arrive prior to then or wait until after school.

We are beyond proud of our UIL contestants this year!! Stanton Elementary is the meet Champion. Our students put in the work and we are proud of each of them. Also, a shoutout to our teachers who coached these students onto victory and all our staff for making the event happen last week.

We will take our celebration field trip in January. And students will receive their certificate and award for placing at our Awards Ceremony at the end of the year.
