Many thanks to over 80% of our students who demonstrated growth on the most recent iReady assessment! We had a blast celebrating you this past Friday. Many thanks also to all the parents that came out and assisted us with the hot cocoa bar.

• Please email excuses for absences to LMMSAttendance@acpsd.net
• For parents picking up their child(ren) for early dismissal, please ensure that this occurs prior to 2:30pm. If a student has an afternoon appointment, they should be picked up prior to the 2:30 cutoff.
• To limit disruptions during the school day and to encourage students to be responsible for their own items, we will not accept items dropped off at the school past 9:30am.
• We cannot accept outside food items such as fast food or Door Dash-type deliveries for students.
• Parents- Please do not drive through the staff lot in the morning and also please do not drop off students in the parking lot. Staff members are driving into work in the morning and need to park in the lot to get in the building in time to greet students. Of the utmost importance is school safety- Students walking between moving cars in the lot poses a danger to students.
• Also, please remember that students should not be dropped off and left unattended prior to 7:30am as we do not have staff supervision prior to this time.

Students 8th grade and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older. Please do not drop middle school students off at the games without an adult.

Help us teach your children/our students about the importance of internet safety. We have had a recent increase in students viewing inappropriate material or emailing peers about inappropriate topics on their school laptops both at school and in their homes before or after school hours. While the district does have filters on the searches, no filter can catch everything. Middle schoolers are very clever and figure out ways around the safety features. We highly encourage you to speak to your children about internet safety and further encourage you to monitor your child's computer use while at home.

Students are expected to wear their ID badges daily.
