Afternoon GBS Parents/Guardians,

Lots of great events over the last week as we definitely feel like we have moved into the warm weather. Please check out the list of different events that are coming in the month of June. There are many and we do our best to keep it updated in order to help keep things straight.

Congratulations to all the students participating in NHDI and the GBS Marching Band as they represented GBS in different area events. We are very proud of you and how you continued to carry on and spread Respect, Responsibility, and Safety.

Important upcoming testing next week! We have the NWEA Reading (6/3) and Math (6/5). These are the last two large assessments that we have students take during the school year. Please encourage your students to keep working hard and finish the year strong. In the words of Robert Hales, "It's not how you start the race, it's how you finish."

Have a great week and enjoy the pictures below!

Sincerely,

Adam Caragher

Community Forum - School Funding and Property Taxes

Join us for a one-hour community conversation with a Q&A session about how New Hampshire

funds its public schools—and why it's leading to unequal tax burdens and unequal opportunities

for students. We'll share local data, explain recent court rulings, and talk about what's next and

opportunities to make an impact.

This event will focus specifically on the ConVal School District and the challenges its towns face

under the current funding model. There will be time for questions and discussion.
