We made it through an incredible first week of school in true TF fashion! Walking the hallways, lunchroom, playground, and classes over the last few days, I have been filled with so much joy seeing our classrooms bustling, new friendships forming, and our students settling into their routines. It's been absolutely wonderful to see the smiles and see our building full of our students again. I hope your child had an awesome first week of school, and we are glad they're here.

Thank you for your partnership, patience during pickup and drop-off, and for sending us such wonderful children every day. Rest up over the long weekend—we can't wait to see everyone back on Tuesday for another great week of learning!

Open House Follow-Up

Big thanks to all who stopped by to say hello during Open House! Here is some of the information you may have learned about, and some you may have missed:

  • Spirit Wear! We have hoodies, tees, hats, and more for the whole family, available now through September 14th from Goldstar Printworks! Help earn funds for the school while showing off your WIldcat pride! You can check out our collection here. Items will be sent to the school the week of September 28th.
  • BoxTops! Did you grab a treat from Mariah while talking about BoxTops? This is one of the easiest ways to send cash to our school, without it costing you anything extra! Download the BoxTops for Education app today and use referral code C7MT39YE. Spread the word--this is a great way for grandparents, neighbors, and family friends to help out!
  • Pop Tabs! Heck yeah, we're still collecting pop tabs! Our first collection day will be coming up soon so keep an eye out here for more information about that. Want to get your hands on one of our fabulous collection containers? Send us a message at tfpfe@isd2144.org and we'll hook you up!
  • Wildcat Blankets! It's hard to think about blankets when it's over 80 degrees, but the cold temps are coming! Luckily for you, we've got plenty of Wildcat Blankets available! Send us an email to get yours!
  • Ways to Help Out! You may have met Diann in the gym with this form, otherwise you likely received one in your child's classroom. If you still have it, please fill it out and send it back to the school with your child. Can't find it? No worries--you can just tfpfe@isd2144.org us your response!

Meeting Dates

We are busy working out our meeting dates! Our meetings are where we get to discuss opportunities, brainstorm together, and sometimes knock out a project or two. We've got two dates to put on your calendar:

Thursday, September 24th and Thursday, October 8th

These meetings will be held at the school at 6pm. It is unlikely we will have childcare available for these first two dates, but we do have games, Legos, coloring materials, and more to entertain any kiddos who tag along!
