During this program, students will receive instruction from each of the five topic areas:

  • Assistive Technology

There will also be plenty of recreational opportunities and opportunities to make new friends and a lifetime of memories throughout the program.

Explore Your Future (EYF) 2024 Program at RIT/NTID accepting applications!

Explore Your Future (EYF) is a six-day career exploration program at Rochester Institute of Technology for college-bound deaf and hard-of-hearing high school students who will begin their junior or senior year in fall 2024. This program focuses on personal growth and career awareness for students as they begin to think about college.

There will be 2 sessions of EYF offered in 2024:

  • Session I: July 6-11, 2024
  • Session II: July 13-18, 2024

The cost to attend EYF is $700 and covers room, board, and all activities—everything but spending money and transportation to the RIT/NTID campus in Rochester, NY. Interested students are encouraged to consult with their Office of Vocational Rehabilitation counselor to see if funds are available to support their attendance; additionally, there are limited need-based scholarships available from RIT/NTID. Many students work with community organizations to fundraise the cost of their transportation and attendance that is not covered by other sources.

Students who attend EYF and enroll at RIT/NTID for college will receive a $1,000 scholarship and an application fee waiver to apply to RIT at no cost.

For more information or to apply, visit the EYF website now.
