What's Happening?
Happy Friday-
This week's Tiger Tales is loaded with tons of new information. Please take a look at all the amzing things happening around school and the Maynard!
PLEASE CONTINUE TO REINFORCE THESE SCHOOL RULES BELOW
Ebike and Scooter Concerns: As warmer weather arrives, we're noticing a significant increase in safety concerns with students using e-bikes and scooters. While we understand that home expectations for safe use are beyond our control, it's important to inform our community that many students are riding without helmets, navigating through traffic, and carrying passengers who also lack helmets. We share this out of care, as the most difficult conversation is informing a caregiver that their child was injured traveling to or from school. Please take some time to establish clear safety expectations and community courtesy guidelines so we can all work together to keep our students safe.
Absence Notification: If your student will be absent, we need to be notified. Please make sure you call the absence line at 978-897-6753
Beverage Consumption: As a reminder, please do not send your student to school with beverages other than water. Having Dunkin' Donuts cups and similar items is not permitted in the classrooms. Please have students consume their specialty drinks before the morning school bell.
Cell Phone Reminder: Fowler Middle School is a cell phone–free school. Students are expected to keep their phones off and away during the school day so they can stay focused on learning and engaging with their teachers and classmates. Thank you for helping us support a distraction-free learning environment.

Informational meeting for 8th graders taking Band and Chorus next year: The music program at the high school goes to Disney World every four years, to perform on stage, attend workshops with Disney pros, and have fun at the most magical place on earth. The next trip is planned for April 2027. All rising 9th graders who plan to or are thinking about taking Band and/or Chorus next year are encouraged to attend the first informational meeting about the trip on Wednesday, April 8, 7 PM, in the Maynard High School Auditorium. Maynard Booster Club
Spring sports season has begun and The Booster Club is excited to open the snack shack for our upcoming home events for both High School and Middle Schoolers. For new parents, the Snack Shack at Alumni Field is run totally by parent volunteers and we welcome having new families join us. A shift in the snack shack is an easy and fun way to get involved. Track meets can be long and a shift in the shack is a great way to pass the time and stay warm! And since we are just steps away from the track you are always welcome to step out to watch your athlete in their event!
The sign up link is below. We hope to see you at the snack shack...and for the person who volunteers the most shifts the Booster Club would love you to pick an item from our school store site on us!
