Valley Virtue -Community
"We are all responsible for making our community a better place."
This quote emphasizes the idea that every individual has a role to play in creating a positive and thriving community. It encourages us to take ownership of our community and to contribute towards making it a better place, whether through small acts of kindness, volunteering, or advocating for change.
Terry Fox Run
On Friday, September 25, our Cinnabar students and staff will come together to participate in the Terry Fox Run, carrying on Terry’s incredible legacy of courage, determination, and hope.
This is a meaningful opportunity for our students to learn about Terry’s story and to help support cancer research. We encourage students to participate with enthusiasm and to wear their favourite jersey or sports shirt for our Jersey Day!
If you would like to learn more about the Terry Fox Foundation or make a donation, please visit the link below:

Thank you for helping us make this a special day for our Cinnabar community and for continuing Terry’s message of hope and perseverance.

Criminal Record Check and Volunteer Forms (For your reference)
Parent Volunteers
Criminal Record Check
Please consider having a Criminal Record Check done at the start of the year, if you haven’t already done so. Thank you to the parents who have. A CRC does not expire for 5 years and allows you to participate in all activities inside and outside the school with our students. We desperately need parent helpers at events and it is a challenge when CRC have not been done. This is a district-mandated step that must be taken in order to become involved in any way in the school.

Driver Volunteer Form
If you wish to help drive students for field trips , you will need to fill out a Driver Volunteer Form as well. Please contact the office for a form if you are interested.
