October Students of the Month
Congratulations to our October Students of the Month. Each month we will focus on a different character trait and we will recognize those students who were excellent examples of the specific character trait. For October, we focused on RESPECT. Congratulations to all of our winners!
September Student of the Month Video
We wanted to share a quick video of our Students of the Month for September. The journalism class at the high school helped us put this together. We will try to do this each month with our new Students of the Month. Click here to see the video.

Congrats to our ICES October Teacher of the Month, Shannon Vansickle!
Voted on by her peers, Shannon has jumped into her new Title I role with so much positivity. She’s always sharing great ideas, supporting others, and brightening every room she walks into.
We’re so lucky to have you, Shannon!

Drop Off and Pick Up Reminders
For the safety of all our students and families, please drive slowly, stay off cell phones, and watch carefully for other vehicles and students in the drop off line. We appreciate your patience and care as you help keep everyone safe.
On Wednesdays, we kindly ask that families do not line up for car pick-up until after 12:30 p.m.. This allows preschool buses and parents to safely complete their midday drop off before the line begins to form.
Thank you for helping us keep arrival and car pick-up safe and smooth for everyone!
Car Rider Form
If you will be picking up your child from school on a regular basis, please fill out the form below for a car tag.
Volunteer Reminder
We are so grateful for the time and energy our volunteers give to ICES! To help us keep everyone safe, please remember to bring a photo ID each time you volunteer. All volunteers must check in at the office with their ID and must also have a completed background check on file in order to be in the building.
Background Checks
In an effort to keep our schools safe, all volunteers must have a background check completed and on file with the school. To volunteer in the classroom, chaperone field trips or attend classroom parties, you must have a background check completed.
Important: A new background check must be done every school year.
THIS BACKGROUND CHECK IS NOW FOR BOTH ICES AND ICIS. YOU WILL NOT NEED TO COMPLETE A FORM FOR BOTH BUILDINGS!

How Sick is too Sick?
As we navigate a season marked by various illnesses, it is crucial that we work together to maintain a healthy and safe learning environment for our students. With several illnesses circulating within our school community, your cooperation in keeping sick children at home becomes even more significant.
Here is an information sheet designed to serve as a general guide for parents, outlining when it's advisable to keep your child at home. By following these recommendations, we can work together to minimize the spread of germs.
