Hey buddies, thank you for all your dedication to this literacy program, and if you're new to the High School Reading Buddies program, we are glad you are joining! Welcome!
Reading Specialist Jen O'Connor will teach reading strategies to help you be the BEST buddy on Thursday, Sep 4, at 6:30 pm. This workshop is a MUST GO! Use this link to register today.
Here are some changes we are implementing to strengthen the program:
- Reading Buddies will be limited to 12 students and we are aiming for a 1 Buddy: 2 Students ratio. This means we will need 6 reading buddies at each session.
- Reading Buddies MUST register to volunteer on our volunteer events calendar on the website in advance so we know we are staffed to serve.
- The Remind app will be used for announcements and sharing important links.
