Every Bullpup Deserves a Hall of Fame Experience
At Pine Tree Hill, every bullpup deserves a hall of fame experience. We are entirely dedicated to ensuring your child receives the absolute best education through a focus on leadership, strong academics, and meaningful relationships. Communication is key to our teamwork, so look for these principal notes every week alongside your teacher’s specific class updates. Together, we make greatness happen!
Message from Mrs. Barber, Principal
What a wonderful first nine weeks! We are so proud of the hard work, growth, and dedication our Bullpups have demonstrated!
📚 Report Cards & Progress Reports: These were sent electronically on Friday. Please take a moment to review your child's progress and celebrate their accomplishments! On Friday, October 30, we will celebrate all Honor Roll students with a special Hall of Fame Celebration with the Principals! This will be a students-only celebration, and we can't wait to recognize their achievements!
🧡 UNITY DAY-THIS WEDNESDAY! We're joining schools across the district in wearing ORANGE to stand together for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion! Let's turn PTH orange!
🍂 Fall Festival-Thursday, October 22 at 5:30 PM: We are SUPER excited to welcome our Bullpup families for an evening of fall fun! Enjoy parent vendors, concessions, a food truck, outdoor fall activities, and a special student writing showcase!
Approved Parent Vendors: Handmade by Fiona, The Cake Edit by Nelly, SAS Balloons and Bows, Papa Mobile Beverage, Baked by Carla, Sassy & Southern, Delights, Cynastional Essentials, LLC, K's Kreations. Please remember to submit your $25 check payable to PTH PTO before Thursday of this week.

Looking for a fun way to celebrate your Bullpup? Rent our PTH Hall of Fame Spirit Rock at the entrance of car line to recognize birthdays, achievements, good luck wishes, or any special milestone!
It's a memorable way to make your child feel like an MVP while supporting our school, every Spirit Rock rental benefits the PTH PTO and helps provide wonderful opportunities for our students throughout the year.

There's a place for everyone in Bullpup PTO! Whether you work full-time, stay at home, or have just a few minutes to spare, we'd love to have you involved. There are simple, flexible ways to support our school, from volunteering at events to sharing ideas or helping behind the scenes. Every act of service, big or small, helps make Pine Tree Hill an even better place for our Bullpups!

Hall of Fame Parent Quick Wins
Highlights from the Parent Handbook:
- Be On Time: Doors open at 7:05 AM. Instruction begins promptly at 7:30 AM. Every minute matters!
- Attendance Wins Championships: Every day counts! If your child is absent, send an excuse note upon their return to school in their folder or via email to their teacher.
- Car Tags = Safe Dismissal: Display your car rider tag every afternoon. It helps us keep dismissal safe and moving quickly.
- Transportation Changes: Send transportation changes in writing through your child's folder (No transportation changes through ClassDojo.). For emergency changes contact the front office or email Emily.Cameron@kcsdschools.net
- Read 20 Minutes Every Night: Twenty minutes of reading each evening builds lifelong readers and leaders.
- Stay Connected: Check ClassDojo and your child's folder daily so you never miss important information.
- Fuel for Success: Breakfast and lunch are FREE for every Bullpup! Start the day ready to learn.
- Plan Ahead: Early dismissals end at 2:00 PM so we can prepare for a safe dismissal for every student.
- Respect Instructional Time: Teachers are teaching throughout the day and cannot accept phone calls during instruction. Please allow up to 24 hours for email/ClassDojo responses, or schedule a conference if you'd like to meet.
- We're One Team: Questions? Start with your child's teacher, and don't hesitate to contact the front office. We're here to help!
