Virtual English Classes 2026-2027

Two virtual classes are open to the parent community, sharing the same thematic units and designed for differentiated proficiency levels:

Beginner Class: serves beginning learners and introduces basic vocabulary,

grammar, and communication within each thematic unit. 6-7pm

Conversational Class: spirals through the same themes at greater depth,

extending instruction into more in-depth conversational English drawn directly

from the school community. 7-8pm

Thematic units across both sessions prepare parents to engage and participate in

school and community events through the following:

Reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities that build vocabulary and interpersonal fluency around children's activities, homework, school policies, parent-teacher organizations, field trips, and school and community events
Cultural instruction that familiarizes parents with United States history, customs, holidays, extracurricular activities, and the local community
Practical language for communicating with teachers, school staff, and other families
School events and expectations
