Full Day, Every Day Kindergarten Engagement Sessions
Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools is exploring the possibility of offering Full Day, Every Day Kindergarten in elementary schools for the 2026-2027 school year. You are invited to share your thoughts as part of the community engagement process.
Your feedback is important in helping understand the needs of families and in guiding and informing this important decision. To ensure all families have an opportunity to participate, both online and in-person community engagement sessions are being offered. Each session will provide the same key information, so you are welcome to choose the option that best fits your schedule. If you are unable to attend the online sessions a recording will be made available for viewing afterward. All information related to this community engagement topic will also be published on the division website.
We are excited to be hosting an in person Engagement Session at our school on December 2 from 6:30-8:30. If you prefer to attend virtually, you can access the Zoom sessions using the QR codes in the image below.

PowerSchool- Live Reporting
In Red Deer Catholic Schools, all reporting of student progress is done "live," and as such, parents do not receive paper report cards throughout the year.
Parents can access information on student progress by logging in to PowerSchool or downloading the app. See the image and links below for further details.
If you are needing any assistance with your PowerSchool username or password, please contact our school office for assistance.
This year, we are using PowerSchool as our reporting platform. This was based on feedback from stakeholders which indicated dissatisfaction with Schoology, our previous platform. Kindergarten-Grade 4 now uses PowerSchool to report all student progress. Schoology. (Our Pre-Kindergarten uses a program called Gold.)
Teachers use timely and targeted assessments (marks and comments) based on the curriculum outcomes. Teachers will be updating Schoology monthly. We encourage you to log into Schoology and if you are needing any support in this area, please contact your child's teacher.
