ELA- Ms. Kraushaar
Students dove into blogging this week! They all posted three times and began commenting on each other’s writing. Our focus for the week was writing so that we showed what was happening instead of just telling readers.
Next week, we’re reducing the amount of blogs to 2 per week. Check in with your student to see what they’re writing about!
Social Studies- Mr. Cahn
Students focused on Knights first this week and designed their own coat of arms. Be sure to check those out. Then their focus turned to the power and role of the Church in Medieval society, as well as what education was like in the Middle Ages, comparing that with our modern world.
Next week we’ll get more into culture and art during this period.
