It’s that spooky-sweet time of year again! Our annual Boo-Gram sale is officially underway, and we’d love your help in making it a memorable experience at SKG. Boo-Grams are festive Halloween-themed notes paired with a treat, delivered to students, faculty and staff during the week of Halloween. They’re a fun way to send a surprise to your child, their friends, or even a favorite teacher!

Pre-order sales begin 10/17/25 and Boo-Grams will START being delivered during FIRST PERIOD on 10/28/25. If your student has not received their Boo-Gram by 10/31, please follow up with their first period teacher.

We also want to give a big shoutout to all of our clubs and sports teams who participated and made the night so special with their creative trunks and fun games. Your creativity, teamwork, and dedication helped make this event such a memorable and enjoyable experience for our little Jags!

What: Online Study Guides are available to understand more about the Georgia Milestones assessment and how to prepare students. Practice sample items are included in the guides for every unit of study, and each sample item is fully explained and provides rationale of why each answer is correct or incorrect.

When?
The AP exam registration window for yearlong exams in www.MyPaymentsPlus.com will open on September 26 and will close on November 9, at 11:59 PM.

How much?
GCPS students enrolled in AP Courses:
After the student pays for the initial $15 registration fee, GCPS will pay for 1 exam ($99.00) per student, as long as the student is enrolled in the course for which he/she is testing. Each additional exam is $99.00. Starting this year, this also includes AP Capstone Exams, AP Seminar or AP Research.

GCPS Students who are Free/Reduced Lunch students and enrolled in AP Courses
Gwinnett County Public Schools will pay for all exams after the $15.00 registration fee.
GCPS students NOT enrolled in Gwinnett County Public Schools AP Courses:
The cost is $99.00 per exam.

Get ready, Class of 2026 — it’s time for one of our favorite Seckinger traditions! This event is exclusively for seniors who have paid their dues, so make sure yours are taken care of before the big day.

🕗 Check-In:
Before 1st period, head to the Commons to check in. You’ll receive your trick-or-treat bag, wristband, and a map showing which teachers are participating.

🍬 When to Trick-or-Treat:
You can visit classrooms and collect treats before 1st period or during class changes throughout the day. Please note that tardies will not be excused, so plan your route wisely!

🎭 Costume Guidelines:
Costumes are encouraged — show your spirit and creativity! However, all outfits must follow the Seckinger Standard and dress code guidelines:

• No face paint

• No masks

• No headgear
  

Keep it fun, appropriate, and school-ready!

🏫 Late Arrival:
If you arrive after 1st period, you can pick up your items from Mrs. Maddox’s classroom (T-331).

Congratulations to Isabel Hicks and Nic Jokhan! Isabel Hicks earned 1st place with a 2 lap time of 52 min 16 sec and Nic Jokhan earned 5th place with a 3 lap time of 1 hour 8 min at the Georgia Cycling Association Race #4- The Cleveland Climb on October 18th

• Only Seckinger HS students and opposing HS students will be permitted in games without a parent. High School IDs will be checked.
  
• Students must leave school on game day and can return thirty minutes before the start.

• All elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult at all sporting events.

Got brains to share? JAGS Connect is looking for SKG students who can help their fellow JAGs level up! Let’s be real—sometimes students explain it best. Scan the QR code on the flyer for more information. Students interested in being tutors must have all teacher recommendations completed by Nov. 7th. For students looking to level-up their grades, peer tutorials begin Monday, Nov. 10th in the SKG Library. Tutorials will be Face-to-Face on Mondays. Don't have a ride or early afternoon time? We've got you covered. Digital tutorials will also be available to SKG high school students and Jones Middle School students. Digital tutorial sign-up QR Codes will soon be available in the SKG Library and posted on every floor.
