Good Afternoon Jaguar Nation,
We are excited to announce our first-ever Spring Dance next week! The theme is Hawaiian, and it promises to be a fun and festive event for all of our students! Please note: Tickets will be sold online only. Use the link below to purchase student tickets.
As we enjoy this extended four-day weekend, we hope it provides you and your family with some well-deserved rest as we continue our countdown to the end of the school year.
Vase Art Competition
We would also like to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our Jones Art Department! This past Saturday, 33 students participated in the Region 10N Jr. VASE Art Competition in Plano. We are thrilled to share that 30 of our students earned top scores and received medals! Additionally, four students earned Platinum medals, placing them in the top 10% of all submissions in their division. Judging was based on both the quality of their artwork and a one-on-one interview with a judge. With nearly 1,500 entries submitted, this is an incredible achievement. Congratulations to all participants, and a special thank you to Mrs. Baker and Mr. Grissom for their leadership and support!
National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony
On Monday evening, we held an incredible National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Induction Ceremony, welcoming 64 new inductees into this prestigious organization. NJHS recognizes students who exemplify the five pillars of Scholarship, Leadership, Character, Service, and Citizenship. Each inductee has demonstrated excellence in these areas and has committed to completing service hours as part of their continued membership. Congratulations to our newest NJHS members and their families on this well-deserved honor!
