💙🦅 Week 10 Principal's Message: New Nine Weeks, New Opportunities!
Dear Falcon Families,
Happy Week 10! 💙🦅
It is hard to believe that we have already completed the first nine weeks of the 2026–2027 school year! As we begin our second nine weeks, I want to take a moment to thank our amazing Falcon families for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our students every single day!
A new grading period means a fresh start, new goals, and new opportunities for success! Whether your child had an outstanding first nine weeks or faced a few challenges along the way, now is the perfect time to reflect, reset, and refocus. We want every Falcon to know that their past performance does not define their future success. Every day is another opportunity to learn, grow, and soar higher!
As we begin this new grading period, I encourage families to take a few minutes to talk with their child about their academic goals. Review grades together, celebrate successes, discuss areas for improvement, and remind them that effort, responsibility, and perseverance make a difference. Please continue checking Parent Portal regularly, encouraging daily attendance, and reaching out to teachers whenever questions or concerns arise. Our teachers and staff are here to support your child's success!
Beyond academics, we are excited about the many opportunities ahead for our Falcons to connect, participate, and make lasting memories. From campus celebrations and student activities to athletics and special events, there is so much to look forward to this nine weeks! We encourage our students to get involved, demonstrate positive behavior, and represent Kirby STEM Academy with pride.
Most importantly, I want our families to know how much we value your partnership. When schools and families work together, incredible things happen for students! Your involvement, communication, and encouragement help create the strong school community our Falcons deserve.
As we move into Week 10, let's continue to lead with kindness, maintain high expectations, celebrate growth, and remind our students that they are capable of achieving great things.
