PIC Parent Update

Seasons Greetings,

I would like to extend warm holiday wishes to all our PIC friends and family. Here are a few important reminders:

1. NWEA MAP Testing: All PIC students will participate in NWEA MAP testing on January 13th and January 15th. For additional information about this assessment, please refer to the parent NWEA MAP document linked below.

2. Winter Learning Packets: Each PIC student has received a Winter Learning Packet designed to provide enjoyable and engaging activities during the break. Students who complete the packet may receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of our two gift baskets. Please see the photos below for details.

3. PIC Grandgreeters: Last week, we welcomed our first group of PIC Grandgreeters, and the students thoroughly enjoyed their visit. If you know a grandparent (or a stand-in) who would like to volunteer, please refer to the sign-up note linked below.

Lastly, I want to express my appreciation to all of you. Preparing for the holiday season with children can be a challenging task. With spirit days and special events both at school and in the community, it can certainly feel overwhelming. As a mother of three, I understand this all too well. The students and staff at PIC truly appreciate your efforts in making this a magical holiday season.

Please remember to contact the PIC office if your student is going to be absent or late. If your child is changing their route home, please call the office no later than 1:00 pm.
