What's Happening @ Stuart Mesa?
Message from the Principal
Dear Stuart Mesa Families,
We had an amazing Fright Night thanks to our PTO and parent volunteers. Thank you all for coming out and spending time with our community. The students looked great in their costumes.
Thank you to Ms. Rubio, our school counselor, for hosting our Red Ribbon Week Spirit Days. The students really participated with great dress up ideas. Ms. Rubio visited classrooms and presented lessons on making good choices. We also partnered with the Community Oriented Policing Services through the Provost Marshal's Office for a REd Ribbon Presentation for grades 3rd-8th. They brought lots of treats and SWAG for the kids.
Mrs. Cruz's Library Pumpkin Contests were featured in Oside USD in One Minute. Check it out at the bottom of this newsletter.
Don't forget we are closed for Veterans Day!

Library is Closing For Remodeling
Our library is currently undergoing an exciting remodel for the next two months! Mrs. Cruz, our Library Media Technician, has played an important role in helping design the new space. All of our students have had the opportunity to preview what the redesigned library will look like. As classes visited the library, Mrs. Cruz shared the plans and encouraged students to imagine the possibilities. She even brainstormed creative ways to use the new furniture to make the library an inviting, engaging, and functional space for everyone. We can't wait for our students to enjoy their new library!

E-bike and E-Scooter Permits for 26-27 School Year
Please follow the directions, linked HERE, in order for your student to ride their e-bike or e-scooter to school. If your student has a permit from last year, they still need to renew it for the 2026-27 school year!
Friendly reminder for all scooter and bike riders: Please put your bike or scooter on the bike rack. We have lots of students forgetting our bike and scooter rules.
