💙September Newsletter 🧡
Riverside Families
We hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Reminder we have NO SCHOOL on Monday, 9/7 and Tuesday 9/8. We will see everyone Wednesday 9/9
Early pick-up: we understand there are needs for students to leave the school day early. Please be patient with the office while we locate your student and have them ready in the office. We do not
call students down until an adult has arrived for pick up. Many of our students will be in areas away from classes meaning they need to make their way to class, grab their things and return to the office. This may take a few minutes so we ask that you schedule accordingly.
On My Way Pre-K Weekly Attendance Reminder
As part of the On My Way Pre-K program requirements, families must review and confirm their child’s attendance each week.
Starting Monday Aug; 24th, and then every Monday, your child’s teacher will send home a paper copy of your child’s OMWPK attendance record.
Parents/guardians must:
- Review the attendance information.
- Confirm that you agree with the attendance submitted.
- Sign the form.
- RETURN the signed form to school the following day (Tuesday).
Your signature is required each week to verify your child’s attendance. Failure to complete and return the attendance verification may affect your child’s continued eligibility for the On My Way Pre-K voucher.
From Our Office
- Please make sure to use our attendance line (Option 5) when calling in your student's absence or tardy.
- If you sign your student in late you may still receive the robocall for unexcused absence. These will be updated as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your support, patience and understanding.
