Special visit from Professor Ben Roy (Christian Scientist) Special visit from Professor Ben Roy (Christian Scientist)

This past Thursday, we had an awesome visit from Professor Ben Roy, who wowed us with some seriously cool science demonstrations! In just a short time, we got to make bioluminescence glow, generate electricity from water, create rocket fuel, freeze a bouncy ball solid, and even blow up a hydrogen balloon! It’s safe to say we all had a blast learning and experimenting with Professor Ben Roy — science has never been this much fun!

Are you getting hungry? Are you getting hungry?

We finished our PinkTober Wednesdays with a Bang! We finished our PinkTober Wednesdays with a Bang!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us this month to celebrate Pinktober Wednesdays and support Mrs. Hutchinson in her fight against cancer. It was fun, unfortunately this was our last Wednesday to celebrate Pinktober. However, there are still many ways to help Mrs. Hutchinson this weekend. On Saturday night the SWAU gym will be open for our Volleyball Tournament fundraiser. If you didn't sign up to play volleyball, there will still be great food to try, socks to buy, and we will be running a silent auction for the many different items donated from many area businesses. Come, join and have some fun!

Today Mrs. Nu invited the whole school to participate in her gender reveal. The majority of the school thought for sure she was going to have a boy. With the help of her fellow teachers and the whole school counting down the air suddenly filled with pink confetti indicating that our newest student to be will be a baby girl Zabala. We are all so happy for Mrs. Nu!
