Wrangler Round Up
10/16/26
Principal's Message
Happy fall, Wranglers! π
A new nine weeks is underway, and we are excited for all the opportunities ahead! The cooler weather has finally arrived, bringing the perfect backdrop for the fun fall events and activities we have coming up on campus. As we begin a new grading period, I encourage students to start strong, stay organized, and continue putting forth their best effort each day.
Our football and volleyball seasons are wrapping up, and we are so proud of our Wranglers for their hard work, teamwork, and school spirit. We are already looking forward to basketball season and another opportunity to cheer on our student-athletes! Our Orchestra, Band, and Choir students have been treating us to some wonderful concerts, showcasing the incredible talent, dedication, and creativity of our Wranglers, and Theatre has been working hard on musical rehearsals.
Our Wrangler Cheer squad did a wonderful job representing us at the LHS Homecoming Parade along with students from StuCo and NJHS. It was so great to see so many current and former Wranglers and their families at the parade!
Thank you for your continued support of Hedrick Middle School. There is so much to look forward to this fall, and we are grateful to have such a wonderful school community. As always, thank you for being part of what makes Hedrick special. Go Wranglers!
Warmly,
Linda Cragin, Principal

on every campus, LISD knows parents want their children to receive an
outstanding education, but more importantly, they want their children to be
nurtured and cared for beyond just academics.
LISD provides student wellness lessons over various topics throughout the year to ensure each child receives the support they need to develop every aspect of their being. Parents can preview student wellness lessons provided by the Counseling Department by visiting the link below.
