Nauset RegionalMiddle School ROCKSA Weekly Update from NRMS - May 1, 2026

Bus Verification Form for the 2026-2027 School Year
This year we are asking that all families complete the transportation form to let us know whether or not your student will be riding the bus for the 2026-2027 school year. This information will be used to create efficient and accurate routes and stops. Additionally, this will help us obtain accurate contact and address information as we move into a new school year.

This form is required in order to ensure your student(s) are assigned a bus for FY27 school year.

Please have this form completed by June 6th, 2026.

Note: You must submit one form for each student in your household.

Hello NRMS Families,

It is May 1, can you believe it? We have just 8 weeks remaining in the school year. It was great to have all students and staff back at school this week following the April break. Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. We are so grateful for all of our NRMS Teachers and all that they do for our students! The Crew (our student ambassadors) have a fun activity for all students to be able to say thanks.

Today was Career Day. A special thanks to Ms. Costello who organized this event where students were able to meet with people in a number of different careers and learn about what they do. Thank you to Senator Cyr and all of the community members that met with our students. The day ended with a wonderful performance by our Drama Society of their play, Radium Girls.

Next week is the Math MCAS tests on Tuesday and Thursday. We encourage all students to do their best on these untimed assessments.

This week we awarded students double points for being prepared. Please encourage students to show up on time for each of the remaining 39 days of school with a charged Chromebook and all of their assignments completed on time. It is "Spring training" to hone those scholarly skills. This will set students up for a strong finish to this year and for a successful start in the fall.
