TORREY HILL INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL
November 2025
Torrey Hill Families,
As we enter November, it's a perfect time to reflect on the many things we are grateful for. At Torrey Hill we are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of students, dedicated teachers, and supportive families. Together, we create a nurturing environment for learning, growth, and development.
This month we will be celebrating two very special days, November 11th we will be honoring our local Veterans, and November 13th we will celebrate World Kindness Day with students choosing one act of kindness to share outside of school.
November also brings cooler temperatures. Please make sure that your child is wearing a coat everyday to school. Once the snow starts coming, students will need coats, snow pants, boots, hats and mittens for recess. Please make sure all items are labeled. If students do not have boots or snow pants, they have to stay on the sidewalk during recess time. We go out each and every day if it is not raining and the “real-feel” temperature is 8 degrees or higher. If you are in need of any winter snow clothes for your child, reach out to the Torrey Hill office.
Always,
Mrs. Powell
