Counselor Talk with Mrs. Taylor
Lincoln Elementary School Counselor
Small Group Announcement
September
The month of September was a very busy month here at Lincoln. Students are having a blast with not only College Go! Week but classroom counseling lessons. Classroom lessons this month focused on employability skills of time management and organization.
Wall of Pennants
Universities all over the United States have really come though in response to my email to send pennants to Lincoln to add to our Pennant wall. How cool is this! We are still receiving packages and our students love to walk by and see if I get to put up any new flags.
Dream Big Contest
Not only did the colleges send us pennants we also received a ton of fun items to raffle off to our students. Students can draw a picture of what they want to be when they grow up to be entered in our raffle. Raffle items include: pennants, t-shirts, keychains, pencils, stickers, bookmarks and lanyards.

Puzzle station: two students must locate all of their puzzle pieces that are hidden in a backpack before putting their puzzle together. While, the second group has their pieces neatly arranged in a box.
Ned’s head schedule station- Find pictures that have times on the back and arrange them on the time schedule below.
Memory station: Students will match their cards but they must be careful not to get the time thief card. If they pull the time thief card they must start all over again.
