Hello Marcellus Families

The school year is off to a great start! Thank you for the amazing turn out at our open house that took place on August 19th. It was great to see everyone’s support and to see our students and families. We had an average attendance of 84%.

As many of you are aware, our staff uses Remind or ClassDojo to communicate with our families. Please be mindful that as much as our staff loves and cares about every child in our district, they also have families of their own. I ask that you contact staff during school hours. If this isn’t feasible due to your own work schedule, please be mindful that staff will get back to you when they return to work.

Please remember that if a student arrives after 8am a parent must sign them in at the front office. Those parents who are picking up students in the afternoon and / or dropping off in the morning, please have your child(ren) use the door closest to the sidewalk of your vehicle. Any transportation changes, please notify the front office BEFORE 2:15 p.m. (269-646-9209). If you’re picking your child up early from school, it must be done before 2:15. No pick-ups between 2:15 and dismissal.
