Prom Tickets for Jr/Sr Students Now On Sale!
PROM TICKETS WILL BE ON SALE THROUGH WEDNESDAY 4/23/25.
We apologize for the ticket issue in MSB this weekend. The glitch has been fixed and student tickets are now available. We have extended the purchase window through 11:59 pm on Wednesday 4/23/25 in My School Bucks!
THE TABLE SEATING FORM IS NOW OPEN!
You will need one POINT person for your group. That person will be in charge of signing up your group to sit together at a table. The point person for your group will need to have everyone’s FREMD ID#. Only ONE person should sign up for your group. If your guest is NOT a Fremd student - you put “guest” in the ID space on the form. Even if you are going solo or with a friend/date as a pair, you MUST fill out the Table Form to ensure seats at a table.
Groups can be up to 12 people (12 is the MAX allowed in a group). If you do not have a full 12 people in your group, note that others will be seated with you at your table. You will not be selecting WHAT table and WHERE it is located, just WHO is sitting at the table.
Here is the LINK for the table form. It is also found in Schoology ⟶ Fremd Events AND in Jr. Class Instagram bio.
If you have any questions, please contact Jen Mertins (FCS Department) or Nicole Clement (World Language Department). Follow us on Instagram for the best updates: @fhs_junior_class

Lockdown Drill Information
On Friday, April 25 we will have a lockdown drill. A lockdown would be implemented should a situation arise in or around the building that could jeopardize the physical safety of students and staff. This drill will be conducted in partnership with the Palatine Police Department to ensure our procedures are in line with best practices to keep our students and staff safe; as such, you will see an increased police presence on campus during the drill.
An announcement will be made the morning of April 25 notifying students of the drill and reminding them of our RUN-HIDE-SURVIVE protocol. In an actual emergency, students must evaluate the situation and either run away from the building or shelter-in-place in a safe area. For the drill, students who choose to run will be asked to remain in an interior vestibule until the drill has been completed. Students and staff will not know in advance about the timing of the drill.
Immediately following the initiation of the lockdown drill, both our website and outdoor marquee sign will have messaging posted informing the public that we are practicing a lockdown and that it is only a drill. In preparing this communication we realize that even the mention of the phrase “hard lockdown” can be alarming. We hope you will find the knowledge that we practice our responses to crises to be reassuring.
Parents or guardians who have concerns or questions about the drills or their student’s participation should contact Assistant Principal for Buildings and Grounds, Michael M. Smith, at (847) 755-2612 or mmsmith@d211.org.
School safety is everyone’s responsibility. If students are aware of concerning information they are encouraged to notify a trusted adult in the building so that we can respond appropriately. We ask the same of our parents and community members. Parents can assist us in keeping our school safe by reporting matters of concern directly to an administrator. This includes when parents have concerns about their own child’s social and emotional struggles. Parents should encourage their student to report concerning behaviors as well.
There is a Safety Concern button located on every student’s iPad and on our website to report concerns about student safety. While this information can be submitted anonymously, please know that it is much easier to address safety concerns when the reporter provides contact information. This allows administrators the opportunity to fully investigate, communicate, and at times, clarify misinformation.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership to ensure the Fremd High School community is a safe place for our students, staff, and community members.
