Hawk News4/17/2026Hendrickson High School

Message from Principal Grebb:

Our teachers are the heartbeat of this amazing campus. Congratulations to Rookie Teacher of the Year Addison Knight (ELA) and our campus Teacher of the Year Seth Cross (Social Studies). These two shined all year and connected the learning to all of their students. Well done.

Our students and staff did an amazing job during the first round of EOC STAAR testing. As we head into next week, we have another important testing day on Tuesday, April 21. Many of our students will be taking the Biology or U.S. History STAAR EOC exams.

This is a reminder to come to school on Tuesday with a fully charged Chromebook, a good night’s rest, and a positive mindset, believing that you have the knowledge to answer all of the questions right.

A huge shout-out to our teachers, who have provided students with the tools they need to succeed and who are confident their students will perform at a high level.

As the pressure and stress build during the final stretch of the year, it is especially important to take care of yourself. I encourage everyone to spend time with their families this weekend and make time to do something enjoyable.

Hendrickson High School appreciates your continued support as we strive for excellence and continue to excel on all academic assessments this spring.

HHS ABC HHS ABC

The Athletic Booster Club is an organization that runs concessions for home sporting events with proceeds going back to coach requests that the district budget doesn't cover. We raise about $40,000/ year the majority of which goes back to coaches/sports and scholarships. We are in need of 7+ new board members for the upcoming 26-27 school year due to board members with children graduating or moving. Without these positions, there won't be concessions for any home events or a fairly large amount of money that helps out our teams.

If you have an athlete and might be interested in serving, please email us at HHSHawksboosterclub@gmail.com for more information on open positions and responsibilities.
