We have had a great first two weeks here at Colbert Elementary! We love seeing students' smiling faces each morning as they enter the building. Thank you, parents for a great start to the school year!

We encourage everyone to take a look at these tips to help us keep the school running smoothly.

1. Label every item with your child's name. This includes bookbags, lunchboxes, water bottles, jackets, hoodies, etc.

2. Write transportation notes in your child's agenda daily. It is extremely difficult for students and teachers to remember where students need to go each day. Parents, please write in their agenda each day if they will ride the bus, be a car rider, or go to After School. This helps prevent your student being in a different location than where you expect them to be each afternoon.

3. The tardy bell rings at 7:50 AM. If you arrive after 7:50, you will need to get out of your car, walk your child inside, and check them in at the office. We cannot have students enter the building once the school day starts without being checked in by a guardian.

We hope to see you at our parent breakfasts this year! They all begin at 7:30 AM. If you choose to purchase a breakfast, the cost is $2.25. Students at Colbert Elementary can eat breakfast at no charge.

Be sure to check out our Little Free Library located in the grassy area in front of the school parking lot. Anyone is welcome to use it! You may take as many books as you like, and you may also donate as many books as you like. We hope the next time you are riding by that you take a look!
