Nauset App Help Page
Families should download the Nauset App to receive school updates, alerts, and messages. Please note: some people have mistakenly downloaded the Thrillshare App instead. The Thrillshare App is for staff only and does not allow families to log in. To help, we have created the Nauset App Help Page on the district website under the Students and Families tab. This page includes written guides and short tutorials to walk you through downloading and using the app. Visit the page here: Nauset App Help Page

Updates From The Principal
Hello NRMS Families,
New to NRMS this year is the Volleyball Team. The popularity of volleyball has taken off and we are excited to watch this inaugural season for our middle school team. To support this new team, we are holding a Pack the Gym event on Monday, October 20. The student body is invited to stay after school, have some snacks in our cafeteria and play some trivia games while we wait for the start of the Volleyball match at 4pm in the gym. Students participating in the event will earn school spirit points for their House. We hope to see a strong turnout for the Pack the Gym event. We will hold additional pack the gym events during basketball season.
Earlier this week we opened up the sign-up portal for parent-teacher-student conferences. Please follow the instructions above. Once again, we want to encourage students to be part of these conversations and take more ownership for their learning. Students participating in each conference will earn points for their House.
As you can see from both examples above (school spirit and academic ownership) there are many ways that our House system is in place to support students in developing the skills they need to be successful in school and in the community. The ROCKS values of respect, ownership, citizenship kindness, and safety along with school spirit, academic achievement, academic growth, and leadership are all areas where when we recognize students with points with the hope that students develop these skills. We are already experiencing our school as a kinder learning environment with respect as the norm, not the exception. We look forward to continuing on this forward path and we appreciate the support from everyone, students, teachers, and parents/guardians.
Enjoy the weekend.
Peter Cohen, Ed.D.
