INCLUDING EVERYONE-HAVING EMPATHY

Students learned to include everyone. It doesn't matter the color of our skin, where were from, how we talk, etc. Everyone should be included. We should take others feelings into consideration, and treat people the way we want to be treated at all times.

Nurse's Corner

We are now approaching Influenza season, better known as FLU season. As you may already know, the symptoms for Flu and Covid-19 are very similar; and there is no way to tell the difference between the two without being tested. Not only do the diseases appear to have some of the same symptoms, but the precautions for preventing the spread of the disease are similar as well. In addition to social distancing, wearing a mask, disinfecting surfaces, and washing your hands often; getting the flu vaccine is another way of protecting yourself and your family against this easily spread disease. Getting the flu may be easy, but getting the vaccine is easier. I have attached a short informative video and a flyer with several locations to get the flu vaccine free of charge. Please share this information with family and friends. Let's work together to keep our schools and communities safe for our kids and loved ones.

Be safe and take care,

Nurse Jackson.
